Hello from the United States

Hello. I am a United States based nerd! I am sort of new to anthropology as a whole but I have always been pretty into different cultures, languages, genetics, and soooo many other things that separate us and unite us. I am mostly Italian, but I also have some basic american melting pot ancestry (Swedish, German, British Isles, etc.). I also have Polish Jew ancestors and Slovakian ones as well... But culturally I am Italian American and that is most of my ancestry! I grew up eating good Italian food and having my Italian grandpa around for a period of my childhood.

My ancestors in Italy hail from Campania and Calabria.

Welcome fellow-American. For whatever it's worth, you don't look Serbian to me. This is about the least hostile European culture forum there is. I hope that you'll feel comfortable here. If you enjoy anthropological classification, you'll LOVE it here., Just remember, that it's all amateur. it is impossible to base anthropological classification on photographs. I posted a detailed explanation of why a couple of years ago.
