Very unreliable map. In Turkey Green eyes are much more common than blue eyes, a lot of my relatives have it (starting with my mom), and i was surprised to find out Green is rarer than blue in the world. Many Turks would think Green is more common. Whoever made this map just assumed Green is less common than blue everywhere, which means map includes bias and assumptions.

These maps are made on presumptions. For example red hair are not so uncommon also in Southern regions. Sicily has a considerable number of re-haired and blue eyed people. Of course together with other brunettes.
in Veneto people is almost blond and blue eyed, comparable to Austria and blue eyes in italy are very much frequent in all regions, also at South.

I have made a rough calculation for Spain that support the statistics shown and it turns to be right. The communities in Spain that has a co-official language and therefore they speak two languages just considering they language and the Castilian (Spanish). Catalunya, Vasque Country, Galicia, Valencia, Balearic Islands (the population of all them is 18 M) the according to Wikipedia there are 10.4 M who speak English. so (10.4 + 18 + 47 ) / 47 = 1,604 . So if there are errors would be even grater than 1,6 since some people might also speak another languages such as French, Italian, German etc.
