I dislike religion in general, especially Abrahamic religons. This includes Islam. Not all muslims are extremists (obviously), but more often than not, Islamic countries are against many things I stand for. This includes equal rights for women, LGBT+, and complete freedom of speech. Most (if not all) Christian nations have progressed to the point they are wiling to stop slaughtering each other in the name of their god--Islamic nations, on the other hand, are still spilling blood over an old, outdated book. Religion should have no bearing over the law. So in short, yes, I am anti-Islam as far as taking control over the government goes.

To put it into perspective (before someone screams "ISLAMOPHOBIA!" at me)
When you say Christian Extremists, you get the Westbro baptist church: People who are cunts but don't actively kill others over religion.
When you say Islamic extremists, you get people stoning women over being raped and murdering gay people--Not to mention 'honor killings'.

Overall, I dislike religion, but Islam has a special place in my heart when it comes to extremist religious hatred.

How can a civilized society still have slavery though? How can it permit spousal rape?
Wasn't there a story of a woman who got arrested for reporting her rape few years ago? I'm not talking bout the one this year, which was debunked. To deny that Islam doesn't encourage extremism is naive. Not to mention women aren't allowed to drive, or are frowned upon for getting an education in a few Islamic countries--This is something many muslim women have attempted to fight for and got killed over.

And let's not forget that while some things are technically illegal in Islamic states (such as child marriage, and, yes, stoning of raped women), many people still act like religious vigilantes and do these things anyway. It isn't unheard of.
