Thank you, Beorn, for more depressing information. Have there been marches or any organised protests against this oncoming wav? One of my friends (who happens to be a black who hates blacks, she's tolerable ) who lived in England for awhile said that there was some group who protested Middle Eastern immigrants, though I'm not sure which political party it was.

Apparently it is a Muslim surname.
I had thought it an enclave of Yorkshiremen.

Nah, there won't be any marches or protests. The only close thing that would register with me to post on here would be the EDL, who would most likely march at the joy of being in a really beautiful and vibrant capital city.

Hm, the English seem to be holding onto the south side of the River; any idea why that might be?

wouldnt really say that to be honest.. only places like pecknarm (as the youth call it today lol), but majority are scum nonetheless.. even though north london has a lot of foreigners, i would say from my own observation that north london is where we feel most comfortable in london without a doubt.. any of you agree apart from areas like edmonton, camden etc etc i get the drift, enfield is definitely what the real london should demographically look like on a larger scale.

What's with all the foreign sounding names? I was expecting surnames more like Thompson, Williams, Jones, Evans etc.

that pic was just exaggeration obviously, but patel is a common name in london.. because of the amount of asians here.. a good comparison dont know where you are from, but for america it would be lopez.. if you get the drift.
