    I disagree.
Normandy is based upon a string Celtic substrate. Many Saxons came, then Vikings. People have often distinctive pinky white faces, and gingers are many.
    They should resemble the English.
    But they don't.
Despite of that all, the Normans look much more French than British.

A couple of pictures to prove my point:

Actually Brittish looking Norman is because Normans settled a lot in England when it was Norman after 1066 (Norman Conquest of England). They have descendant in England and some English people look naturally Norman because of their Norman ancestry.

Someone here has shared some actor from UK looking Norman, he has Norman ancestry (DNA proves it). That makes sense IMO.

So if a girl "looks brittish" and she's Normandish, might be the contrary. Brittish look norman because of their Norman ancestry.

BTW pictures you shared are typical Norman children I used to meet and still meet lol. Specially in central western Normandy.

    Hahaha, manicheanism but... ok XD

This one is more accurate even if they forget how much Atlantid is common phenotype even here in Normandy (specially North-atlantid) :

This map is full of shit, like everything Eupedia does.
"Celtiberians" in Berry, Central France? "Greco-Romans" in Anjou and Touraine?
    "Dinarids" in Burgundy and Maine?
The fuck who made this map is obviously severely challenged.

Well I found pictures of Norman high school students, in rural area they are very likely to be pure Norman and actually these are Norman common phenotypes for most of them.

    Starting with WESTERN NORMANDY

Western Normandy was populated by Celtic tribes called Unelles and Abrincates. They have been invaded by Romans (in -56). From the IVth to the Xth century that area lived the vikings raids and viking massive immigration. They were Norvegian vikings which were raiding and settling in Ireland previously. The settlement was from Norvegian vikings and this is important to notice it because in all the rest of Normandy there were no Norvegians vikings, only Dannish.

They are ligther than the rest of France probably but they still have a French look.

Judging by the pics of Ilma, blond/light hair accounts for 20-25% of the population.

    CENTRAL NORMANDY

The central Normandy was populated by diverse celtic tribes like the Viducasses, the Bajocasses, The Lexovii, Esuvii, etc. They have been conquered by Romans in -56 until the Vth century where they became Franks (germanic tribe from east) but have been colonised strongly by Saxons too from this Vth century, toponymy still attest their presence nowadays. Vikings started to raid overthere since the VIIIth century. They settled from the IX and Xth century. They were mostly Dannish vikings. In 1066 when William conquered England, many of his men where from that area and settle in England.
