Indigenous people of Azerbaijan (Talysh) are celebrating Putin's victory hoping he will stop gneocide against them (Medvedev gave Russian territory where Lezgins live to Azerbaijan several months ago an now those kids are not allowed to go to Lezgin schools and are being Turkified).
From Talysh blog...
Cлёзы радости и гордости за Россию!
It says "Tears of happiness and pride for Russia"!
and their tags say "Talysh for Putin"

You can scream bloody murder all you want but the fact is that ol' Vlad knows how to take care of things and understands how power works. He is a true man who rules through strength and pride and whatever everyone says doesn't matter at all. He is the chief!

It seems, on the contrary, that whatever Putin does, you will just state some propaganda stamp like "he boosted the economy" (when oil price grew 5-8 times accounting for 50% of Russia's exports and the economy grew exactly like in Russia in all of Eastern Europe*, while in the oil states like Azerbaijan and Kazakhstan it grew much more), "he boosted birth rates" (even though they are an obvious consequence of the age pyramid), "he deals with migrants" (even though Central Asian numbers tripled), etc. The number of terrorist acts increased:
The number of their victims increased and was high throughout his reign (orange):
What, pray tell, are the positive results here? How can you say that things became more tranquil when the terrorists acts are regular even if the liberty and well-being of Russian citizens from the entire country are being sacrificed precisely to somehow limit terrorism (fuelled by Putin's bandit connections like Kadyrov)? Here, look at the list of terrorist acts: [link] - and those are just the major ones.
Dagestan is completely lawless: yesterday 3 policemen and 1 terrorist was killed, 2nd March: colonel Magomed Musaev killed with an automated gun, 2nd March: bomb triggered at a house in Gimra, 1st March: two terrorists killed in Mutsaul, 27th February: policeman shot to death in Makhachkala, 27th February: bomb disarmed in Makhachkala, 26th February: five hunters killed by terrorists in Karabudakhent, 26th February: bomb disarmed in Kirovaul, etc., etc. Just read their news: http://www.riadagestan.ru/
* Say, Ukraine's economy grew even more, if we measure growth in percentages

It's so easy to turn on Russia Today and slander the facts about Russia off as Western propaganda, and call fine Russians opposed to all the corruption, severe restriction of free speech and human rights, etc. as spies hired by the US. The North Korean regime is doing a better job fighting the NWO than Putin, yet I won't be bowing down for any of those regimes.
Even many Russians prefer to wear blindfolds, but I can see there are bright people still left there. Russia is a neighbor to my country, a fact which makes me very concerned about the developments over there. I'd take Putin&co over some fanatic extremist imperialists any time of the day, but I'd rather like to see Russia as a decent country.
But what do I know, I'm a fascist from a traitorous US puppet state, eh.

I have pointed out this before, but this is what the Russian government thinks about European nationalism:

Now, why would any European nationalist support Putin?
