We don't want you to 'befriend' us in the first place. It's your own countrymen who are obsessed with us and want to be friends with us. They even reach levels where they claim Greek ancestry because they are ashamed of being Turkish.

I personally don't care if they are European wannabes. There are many western Turks who descend from Bulgarians, Albanians, Bosniaks and other Balkan Slavic people. What pisses me off is when they claim that they have Greek ancestry which is bullshit or when they're leeching on Greeks. I want them to leave Greeks alone and stop being obsessed with us.

You cannot judge Greeks by their actions, just like you cannot put a 3-yr in jail for trying to steal a cookie. Imagine Turkey is an older teen, but Greece is still a little kid.
Having said that, the article by BBC is full of ch1t. Those westerners rarely have any connection to reality. They are professional liars.

Talking about ties, the rational thing to do first is to make ties with the Balkans to where we belong. Of course all balkans should be friendly to Turkey, but also Turkey should break free from their western service and stop feeding Albanian and Bosniak micro-nationalism, recognize the western homicidal involvement in the balkans, denounce the recognition of Kosovo, and pay compensations to Serbia, Bosnia, Makedonia and Bulgaria AND OF COURSE CYPRUS for all the trouble you caused there, by participating in your master's crimes (you are still in NATO right?).

So, my dear friend, there is a long way ahead. And with the current balkans leaderships I don't see it going anywhere any time soon. Turkey screwed up so badly in the last 45 years it is very hard to even start thinking about peace.
