The proto-Romanian is not a language family. For example the Kalmyk language evolved in Europe, the proto-Kalmyk speakers arrived onto the Kuban steppe in the early 17th century and the separation from the other Oirat languages ended in the 20th century only. The Kalmyk is a real European story as the Romanian!
The Hungarian not, since the Hungarian language evolved in the 2nd millenia BC in Western Siberia and our ancestors with their Hungarian language arrived into Europe in the 5th century AD only, when the proto-Romanian story started somewhere in the Balkan.
