No. The mongols converted to Islam and though it may be rude only became semi-human once they converted to Islam and adapted the Iranic language, though they still kept some of their savage like behavior and went back for India.

It didn't affect me too much my ancestors clearly did well since we're still Kurdish, the ones that should be "butthurt" are the locals that adapted an East Asian language.

You're right. Qutayba ibn Muslim and other generals who followed his path takes most the credit here. The whole bloodshed was sparked by Muslim rampage and early Muslim expansion, invading Transoxiana and Khazar Empire. Mongol conquests occured later, probably was in response conquests over Asia. Although I dislike the fact that they also invaded Anatolia and further west, they were nothing less IMO.
