If you call for a sound immigration policy that selects from where people can immigrate, the left (and most of the cuck right) will call it immoral because it discriminates on race.
I'll tell you why it's not.
1.) Nobody has the "right" to immigrate into any country. There is simply no such thing as that right. So you are not denying anyone anything, if you exclude him based on country of origin/race or any other reason. Each country has the right to chose who immigrates there based on ANY criteria they wish.
2.) It does not go against the principle of judging people based on their content of character. The government simply does not have the means to judge every applicant personally and to inquire about his content of character, especially if people have a strong incentive to present themselves as better so that they can immigrate. So going based on average differences is logical.
3.) Country of origin/race discrimination on immigration is moral, because there are significant statistical difference between populations in things that matter for the host country, such as average IQ, propensity to criminality, culture, identity, politics etc. Only one of those attributes is sufficient to justify discrimination. If you are for example a Republican see Republicans starting to lose election because of demographic changes, this is perfectly enough for you to oppose immigration of Hispanics who are more likely to vote for the left. So only on the political grounds alone it is justify to discriminate based on race. Not to mention all the other things combined. Another thing is identity. If you are against identity politics, bringing people of different races will cause there to be more identity politics as opposed to having a monoracial society. So if you are simply against identity politics, it's logical for you to oppose immigration of people from different races/identities.
I believe that the reason the mainstream thinks that discrimination in immigration is immoral, is because they think racial discrimination is such an evil that it is immoral in every context. People have been emotionally conditioned about the evils of historical racial discriminating in United States so any racial discrimination automatically becomes evil in their minds, even tough the logic doesn't follow it.
