This is funny, i see a pattern of semitic and iranic members speaking of an overlap between Portugal and Morocco.
I highlighted these three populations on this genetic map:



They are all far from each other, but europeans are closer to each other than to non-europeans. I don't usually get either of these populations on my Oracles but here is Norway in EUtest at a distance of 22(which is a lot). Morocco i never get.



Physically these people don't look alike either except for the odd person.

There are many examples of people who are nearby geographically but are completely different: India and China, Russia and Chechnya, etc.

I voted Norwegians: I understand that Portuguese are like 45% olive skinned: olive skinned europeans like Sean Connery, George Clooney or Sylvester Stallone still look closer to pale-rosy skinned fair haired Irish or Scandinavians than to medium brown skinned North Africans and the majority of Moroccans are indeed medium brown from what I've seen but I'm open to corrections if you have any. the only caveat I have is that in summer people with olive complexion can easily tan to a darker color that might make them somehow more exotic so you have these kind of threads from people (generally from off white background) who want to stir controversy because they are not 100% ok with their racial/ethnic identity.

A few Norwegians/ Scandos are olive skinned. I actually knew one myself, they're quite rare though.
