I believe you might be deceiving yourself about your own looks. You might not be as attractive as you think, and if you are (physically) there might also be something in your personality that is pushing girls away. In other words; your theory is wrong, girls do love good looks, but it also have to go accompanied by other things that dont push us away.

Looks are nominal. Women will quickly get tired of your looks but they'll never get tired of your personality. The most your looks will get you is a one night stand or a girlfriend in middle school. Keep solely relying on your looks to find that special someone and by 45 the only thing you'll have is a receding hairline, beer belly, and erectile dysfunction.

Looks matter but so does ethnicity. I'd get any Desi Indo-Aryan (Gujarati, Punjabi, Marathi, etc) girl before any of your Italian loud mouthed males.
