His lips look odd to me, rather large. Possibly just relatively "extreme" individual variation, but who knows for sure.

Both look peculiar, the eyes are narrow but it's the shape that's really strange ... the lips are too full and pouty for a european. I can think of only one phenotype that has narrow eyes and very full lips and that's Khoisanid.

I fully support your version, this guy is South African, he was borned in Pietersburg, and his surname is de Beer, so i think he is of Dutch descent, i find his features very interestingly combined.

It is interesting, how did he inherted such traits, while full lips is probably a generally desired trait in a model industry nowdays and you can find many europeans with weired lips his eyeshape strike me as very native, i can't remember South Africans looking like this.
