I don't agree that all four of them look European. To me, only one of them does, and it's the first woman who is also the only one I'd place in Greece.


Giacomo Bellavia looks pseudo-South Asian, but what he probably really has is some Arabid influence on top of some East Med.

Erika Marco looks very Greek. Just a pure East Med. She is probably the most typically "Sicilian" one in the group, as I've seen her face many times both amongst Sicilians and amongst Greeks (though she looks Aegean/Dodecanese and not mainland).

Ignazio Catanzaro looks straight out of the Arabian Peninsula to me. Arabid/East Med.

Elvira Frigerio looks more North African/Iberian/Berid/Berberid like, almost like a Canarian Spaniard or Riffian Berber.

They cluster there because Sicilians also have ancient Levantine ancestry. Sicilians, Calabrese, Maltese, Cypriots, and Jews form a cluster.

The fact that much of Sicilian ancestry is Neolithic West Asian, Phoenician, and other Near Eastern (Elymian, Greco-Syrian, etc.).

A lot of the lighter pigmented ones, in more Norman areas, have smaller noses. But then you get people who look like depigmented Armenoids.. with blonde hair, blue eyes, and giant noses.

this thread is a little older and since then I stopped posting too much in this kind of threads because no matter what I say it is wrong ...when I say they dont look european I get told how I dare to talk like that as a non european and when I say that they look european I get accused to only say it to make myself look more european :crazy: which is 100% not true

but yeah he is exotic indeed but I dont think he looks paki ...they have very different features and even pigmentation most of the time
