Hi,

I was wondering how legit are the Geographic origin DNA tests, i've done one and was surprised by the results.

According to the test i've had the closest match with Russians,Serbs,Polish,Germans,UK.

Now as far as i know all my relatives are Dutch, with only two exceptions some English/Irish and distant Jewish ancestry.

But generally an all Dutch family.

What test did you pick? The Geno 2.0?

There is a variety of tools for that depending on the company which tested your saliva example. Also, third party tools.
Some tools are less reliable, some others more. But in any case you can not interpret them literally. If you want, you can post your results (screenshots) and our forum members may help you interpreting them.

The company is reliable they are well known here and even work together with a TV channel.
