How alike are those two men? Does some of them look Jewish or Gypsy?

Hello,
I have seen somebody on Russian forum asking about her grandfather looks Jewish or Gypsy. I was astonished how he reminds me another man from my own family, also suspected being Jewish or Gypsy! Are they really alike or that's just my imagination? Unfortunately the only photo of both of them.

They do look similar. I don't know if they look jewish or gypsy. It's hard telling by the pics.
