Actually, if after summer holidays you are kinda pale your classmates are going to be like "where were you?", "go get some sun", "what's up fresh cheese"

This year I said to a classmate after holidays "wow, you're Black" (in Chile is not offensive) and she said "thank you!!" haha

What I find strange, though, is that the tourists from the UK are a pasty white and they turn pink and bright red. But the Germans and Scandinavians go very dark shades brown, like this woman.

Yeah, I've seen the same, although there are quite a lot of Germans who also get like a king crab. I'm mostly of Northern Spanish ancestry and the colour I get is very similar to the orange of Scandinavians and Germans though.

Anyway, I was telling exactly the opposite: Chileans (locals) do like getting tanned. We don't stay out of the sun at all, despite the ozone layer.
