What else is out there in that jungle? To think there is lost cities yet to be discovered fires the imagination. To think in South America a civilisation was competing alongside the technology possessed by both Ancient Britons and Egyptians.

Before he became Mel Gibson (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mel_Gibson)'s lead consultant on the movie Apocalypto (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Apocalypto), Richard Hansen (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Richard_D._Hansen) spent decades exploring the ruins of the ancient Maya (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Maya_civilization). Now, he excavates a tomb at the city of El Mirador (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/El_Mirador).
