Yeah. I have to agree. If it was relatively recent, I doubt that Eichmann, as an SS officer, not to mention close colleague of Heydrich*, could have concealed such a fact. Relatively recent Jewish ancestry tended to reveal itself. For instance:

Your life is the combination of your conditions and your choices. Some choices make it possible to overcome your conditions, some conditions make it impossible to take certain choices.

Since they weren't full Jews, they had the choice to fight for the III Reich and overcome (to some extent) their mischling condition. It doesn't mean that it was right or wrong, simply their choice.

You're not forced to like or identify with X/Y part of your ancestry.
