The only one of these I would truly want to live in is Maryville, Tennessee as it is Appalachian (Blount County) just as my home in Livingston was (Overton County).

Traverse City, Michigan
Hancock County-Houghton, Michigan
Spencer, Iowa
New York Mills, Minnesota
Spearfish, South Dakota (my great grandfather lived in South Dakota for a while)
Lanesboro, Minnesota
Petoskey, Michigan
Branson, Missouri
Saugatuck, Michigan
Clayton, Georgia
Columbus, Indiana
Scottsbluff, Nebraska
Littleton, New Hampshire
Pierre, South Dakota
Hannibal, Missouri
Paris, Tennessee (WOOT my home state, but Paris, TN is outside of Appalachia :P)
Saranc Lake, New York
Lancaster, Ohio (Too many Frenchies and Germans)
Glen Falls, New York
Maryville, Tennessee (This one is Appalachian :D)
Sandusky, Ohio (Tommy Boy lol)
Eagle River, Wisconsin
White Bear Lake, Minnesota
Livingston, Montana (too bad they did not list my hometown Livingston, Tennessee, probably had something to do with the severe unemployment rate in the region).)

Question from the quiz: I’d like to live in a community with a large Spanish-speaking population

My top five were: Seattle (Washington), Denver (Colorado), Cincinnati (Ohio), Carlisle (Pennsylvania), Boise (Idaho)

Considering I clicked 'no' in wanting to live near Hispanics, I'll take Cincinnati :D

Mrs Germanicus would like to live at Las Vegas, who am i to argue with her?
Hospitals are top class, restaurants, shopping malls, shows, easy access to everything.

That's where I live and it's awful :P And the hospitals aren't what I'd call "top class".

I did it once some months ago and I think it was somewhere in the North-West.

Does anybody know of a similar quiz for European cities?

I tried highlighting the list to copy, but it didn't work . . .

So, the website spit out Columbus, Indiana, as my top match. The really weird thing about that is that my best friend and his family moved to Columbus two years ago! How strange is that?
