It's funny, because for them there is no reason to choose anything but the most beautiful one. Notice they are not just lighter but much more caucasian as well.

More pure asians and more pure blacks can be good looking but India is really a jumbled up mix, not its own distinct ethnicity. I think they have Gigolo syndrome: they are so mixed up they don't have distinct identity so are searching for another one (and caucasian is the closest one to what they are so this maks sense, too).

I don't have moral qualms about race mixing, but it really doesn't seem to turn out good when everyone is 6% of this and 12% of that, which is probably the future for most of the planet.

to me she is very beautiful with her darker skin. a stunning girl. india has a obsession with lighter skin thats true, i dont know why. i think it is a ancient view that fair skin means aristocracy, i learned in school that pale skin was considered a sign of nobility in medieval europe where the term "blue blood" stems from, having pale skin so the blue veins are visible, i think it is similar in india, rich succesful people have paler skin and stay out of the sun, it is also in china like that or japan (but are much less mentioned) i dont know if it is a obsession to be european or just to have fairer skin, fairer skin on a indian doesnt equal being european like

Again this also happends in the Middle East, especially in the Gulf, where the population have a darker shade of skin-color than the rest of the arab world.

Fair skin is seen as a sign of prosperity and higher class hierarchy, where darker skin is the color of the poor, who works in the sun & heat for many hours.

In Europe however, if you'd gone 3-5 years ago, it was the opposite, and tanning-beds we're at an all time high.
