I noticed that on all points bulletin from the police, the wanted person is often described in detail in regards of phenotype. I think racial taxonomy should be taught in public schools or at least in police academy's.

Here a German example of a wanted criminal(robber):


Der Täter wird wie folgt beschrieben : circa 30-35 Jahre alt, circa 180-190 cm groß, "normale" Statur, leicht rundliches Gesicht, flacher Hinterkopf, kurze, dunkle Haare, vermutlich osteuropäischer Herkunft, bekleidet mit einer dunklen Kapuzenjacke, dunkelblauen Jeans und hellen Turnschuhen.

Translation:

The criminal is described as following: approximately 30-35 years old, about 180-190 cm tall, "normal" stature= leptosom or leptosom-athletic, slightly round face, flat occiput=taurid or alpinoid characteristics, short, dark hair, probably of Eastern European origin, wearing a dark hooded jacket, dark blue jeans and bright sneakers.

Now looking at the description and the facial composite it is obvious that we have to search for a Dinarid individual. Very likely from the Balkan area.

True, Taxonomy can be super helpful, even among mixed people. People vary so much, to just simply narrow it down to very specific descriptions. :picard2:
