They could pass anywhere in the Ukraine. There are not so strong regional differences.
Ukraine is not Italy. Its more comparable to Poland

They're from Wrocław. I am not too familiar with the Ukrainians but many would fit well as Poles, especially Rusyn people to my knowledge. Definitely closer than Germans or Lithuanians from my perspective, they're Slavic after all. Still I don't see how they could be mistaken for people from Ukraine.
