The newer versions of IE are quite good actually. Widely used in the UK.

I have the new windows, it is crap. Brought back the old style, with a start menu. And am using Chrome. Explorer would be my second choice now though. Firefox has been made redundant.

I agree. Windows 7 was the best.

Sad to see Ukraine betraying the Opera master-race.

Inaccurate map is inaccurate. It includes Kosova as part of Serbia.

Belgium still insists on IE, no wonder EU is slow as sh*t

IE is used mainly by schools, corporations and old people, but still the most used as a result. e-Stonia at least is ahead of us by using Chrome.

Surprises me Belarus prefers Opera. No idea how that browser looks like tbh.

I personally switched to Chrome after Firefox malfunctioned after one update (which forced people to use a previous version and not update their browser). That problem has long since been fixed, but Chrome kind of grew to me and it was too late to turn back to Firefox.

Not sure when I switched from IE to Firefox before, though. I also remember having used Netscape Navigator ages ago. ;)

Opera became popular in Belarus when connexions were very poor. Opera has a turbo feature that makes the pages go through proxies to compress them (huge bandwidth save).

It switched to the Chrome engine recently, but Opera with its proprietary engine (Presto) is still the best browser by far in my opinion.
Chrome has a huge RAM consumption and gets extremely laggy with a few dozens tabs (I very rarely have less than 65 tabs opened, and I went up to 275 once).

That's what it looks like right now :

Browser Firefox is the best, OS Linux is the best. Windows for lazy people, Mac OS for pussies

Why on earth would you have so many tabs open?!

That's because windows 8 is designed for tablets and such.

That's a lot of tabs you've got there. I rarely have more than 10 when I browse. ;)

That's true.

Also, people were installing mini Opera on Android based phones till 2010. A Telco company was giving people access to websites using mini Opera at a lower price.

Personally, I use Firefox or Chromium.

Mini Opera was great on the old phones.

And yes, Opera is a great browser. But I don't use it since Chrome and Firefox are better.

Chrome covers everything I need, hence I'm not looking further. I also have 6.00 GB RAM. :p

6GB of RAM may not be enough to keep 2-3 applications running and many tabs opened.
