You left out the part where the Jews suffer and then make Palestinians suffer, a case of Stockholm syndrome, very intriguing indeed...

Just a quick interesting myth (or fact?)

It has been said that all Iranian people (including Kurds, Persians, Afghans, Balochis, Azeris etc) are all descended from a man called Matiene, who supposedly killed a "deaw" or demon (I still don't understand what the creature is). It was described to be a white creature with (red?) spots. The Demon kidnapped many women and children and Matiene was given the job to free them. He found the Demon's lair (which is either in Iranian Kurdistan, in an area called Demon's valley, or Mt Damavand the home of the Demons.) He killed the Demon and freed the people in his lair. He fell in love with one of the women and had two children (One of their names was Parsu but I've forgotten the other one) that founded two great nations, the Medes and the Persians. Basically, all Iranic peoples are related through Matiene.

Nice video btw, the mountains remind me of my mountain village in Kurdistan, it's a very similar landscape.

I thought this sub forum was supposed to be for Iranic people as a whole, not just for the Islamic republic as a country.

Iranian politics + Iranian culture, so of course, other the culture of other Iranic people (not only Persians) is also welcomed here.
This video for example is not political in the least, mostly travel and culture related.
