Hmmm... Hard to say! Ashkenazi Jews are partially middle eastern on DNA tests but it might be mostly from Iberian... you know where in Spain your ancestors are from?

the thing is that sephardi jews dont score high ashkenazi jewish on ancestry composition. only ashkenazi jews score high ashkenazi. they dont have a sephardi reference but if they had it would be clear then. i dont think you can be that sure. i have 1.4-3.0 declared ashkenazi and 795 relatives (thats pretty much for someone of my ethnic background)

Hmm...Good question, I don't really know from where exact But on my 23andme DNA Relatives it shows mostly from North of Spain mostly Galicia and Basque region,Leon, regions that are mostly around Galicia then Andalusia mostly from Seville only and a few of Catalonia and the surroundings
and my relatives from North-Central Mexico who are pred European some of their lastname are Valenzuela, Scott, Silva, Salazar a Basque surname, Aguayo...with surnames mostly from North-Central Spain it seems.

thats not true, many jews converted to christianity and assimilated. also there are "crypto-jews" etc. they were expelled from spain eventhough they were christian and took refuge in the ottoman empire/balkan.

i was told that im probably sephardic thats why i score lower ashkenazi then what im jewish, i have non-specific southern european, one small iberian, a bit italian, and a bit northafrican and also middle eastern, it indicates sephardic ancestry or could indicate. i also match countries in caribbean and latin america (which is typical of sephardics etc.). well they should make a sephardi component then it would be clear

thanks maybe im really not but it draw my attention. i just wrote mcdonald again he wrote me weird things often and i asked for clarification once he gave me a all mideastern chromosome painting, once he said my results can be improved with up to 40% jewish or 20% mideastern, he gives me mideastern on chromosome painting, and said once if he split in 3 im european-mideastern-indian but said it is too complicated to list it (quiete weird since he gives minor percentages even to others and in 3 way modus) he always gives me only 2 way modus "italian-indian" "spanish-indian" "romanian-indian" but im sure it could be improved if he gave me some mid-eastern inbetween

Yeah probably, About the last name Scott is the last name of some girl relative of mine from North-Central Mexico, maybe she is mixed with some British,I read its of Celtic Scottish origin. Some British descent have settled in Mexico also.
