2 major reasons I think.

1. Religion
2. Socio-Economics

In general, Christian Lebanese are more well educated and more well off and being Christian they can integrate easily. In Australia, lot of the Muslims come from very poor Shiite families, also they dont integrate and many do develop a hatred for the society around them
