Father, the infamous textbook Borreby from Coon:

His son:

I would think something with a Corded element. Of course his phenotype could be a recombination from his fathers side too, but I personally would bet on his mother being an extreme Nordid. :)

I agree on that. I'd say that his mother was Nordid of Hallstatt type or could be Tronder as well IMO

Interesting, I always forget that these two exemplars were related. There's always the chance that his mother could've been a CM type too and the genes for the Corded morphotype were passed down from a grandparent.

The mother is lying, the boy is the by product of her fling with the handsome uber Nordid English milkman!:thumb001:

Based on modern genetics it sounds irrelevant, the mother could have a similar phenotype as the father also. Then, producing this man but both carrying the genes necessary for the its phenotype.

Weren't they Danish?

They look Danish, especially the old guy. (I don't know squat about the technical stuff).

I seemed to have missed the last posts. Yes, they were Danish. :) And of course the father looks "Danish", being a textbook Borreby. :D

Indeed. Without a genetic paternity test, I will have a doubt. :D
