Someone requested a thread about Norwegian crowd photos, so I thought I'd make one.

Definitely more distant look than that of Swedes from Polish perspective, most of them can't really pass when you look closer at their faces (even as very atypical in Northern Poland). Of course they look different than Swedish when you see group pictures. Some Brunn phenotypes occur.

ROFL. I see you chose the pictures with the highest presence of dyed hair you could find. And you accused me of having an agenda? The Norwegian female football and handball national teams are notorious for dying their hair platinum blonde.

Escuse me? Half of the pics are group photos of men. Is it common for Norwegian men to dye their hair?

I don't see that big of a difference between the females and the males, in pigmentation.

It is not as common for males to bleach their hair as it is for females, but it is still quite common. I never post photos of the female national handball and football teams because they are notorious for dyeing their hair light blonde, which is an extremely rare color for adult Norwegians. Around 70% of those girls are bleached. Other than that, it seems that you put in great effort to find the blondest and palest group photos possible. My photos shows a much more accurate story and are taken from all across the country. All regions in fact. I'm still waiting for you to comment on them....

I'm still waiting for a comment on my photos. Lots of them are large group pictures, yet they show a different story than yours. BTW it didn't take me long to find them.

I'm still waiting for a comment on my photos. How do you explain that my mostly larger group/crowd photos show a different story than yours, not only in pigmentation but also( to a lesser degree) in features? How do you explain that? The pics of youth footballers, both mine and yours seem very similar. It's just that you posted some pics of old people, one where almost all are grey haired.

My pics are not cherry picked. It's your female and male national handball team, some youth football teams, and your national beach handball team. Are they atypical? Ofc not.

This is also a silly lie which can be disproved by just.....looking at the pictures!
Not even in one picture is this the case!

Can't you just be honest? When you saw my posts you immediately jumped in and posted the blondest, palest pictures you could find. The fact that the majority of them are fake blondes was not something you felt the need to address.
Face it, my photos are much more representative for Norwegians than yours. I carefully picked photos from all regions of the country, from many different settings and with people of all ages.
Your answer reveals that your either very avoidant when confronted with evidence. Or maybe you just love to rile people up. Very strange behaviour no matter the reason.

But why don't you just admit that ALL my photos put together( not just a few sports team pictures) show a higher rate of darker individuals than yours? I'll say again that they are from ALL regions, different settings, different ages, genders etc. As for me posting "20 classification threads in a short amount of time regarding some really atypical Norwegians" I'll have to repeat what I've said before. Oh get real :rolleyes: This is what the Anglo-Keltic wannabe krigare always keep saying, but in reality Scandinavians look very similar to each other. Even the supposedly pseudo-keltic Iceland looks more similar to other Nords, than to Brits/Irish.

LOL. Again you've posted the blondest version of you could find of this years U-21 team. But don't worry, I'm going to make a post with photos of ALL the ethnic Norwegian players who have been drafted for the U-21 at various points throughout the year! Try to not get too irritated over the truth this time...

Here's a list of photos of ALL the ethnic Norwegians( over forty people) who played for the U-21 team at some point during the year. None of these photos got posted by Whoop( weird huh...)! As you can see there's a lot more variation of pigmentation here! I will post 20 pictures in this post and the last 20 in another post due to the limit of 20 pics pr post.

Ireland and britain both have some decent norwegian influence from vikings but the few that look very irish are probably either from similar aboriginal stock or were taken as slaves. I don't think there are many.

Whine? Stupid troll? Says the guy who didn't have ONE comment regarding my newest photos! NOT ONE! What's the matter? Not as many blondes as you had hoped for? No reason to get all defensive because I provided the complete and TRUE picture! The Norwegian U21 team is in constant change, with almost sixty ethnic Norwegians having played for the team in various tournaments and games so far in 2013. In case you missed it I also posted a picture of the medical/coaching team responsible for the players. I live in Norway. I'm born and raised here. I know my country. No worries but you kind of took what I posted out of context and I also felt you were accusing me of being a wannabe Scandinavian when I'm happy to compare my ethnicity with a broad range of Europeans. I just said that of all the Scandinavian people Norwegians have more people that have similarities with the British Isles in my opinion. I didn't say they weren't closer to their neighbours. Personally I'm very proud of my Irish identity and wouldn't want to have any other ethnicity than I do. Saying that I don't put them on a pedestal either and know the Irish have their shortcomings just like everyone else but I do love being Irish.

They (Norwegians) are not significantly closer to the British Isles than Sweden overall, although it may vary by region (as in some areas R1b is up at 40-50%, where it is more like 20-30% in other areas, and P312 is quite common).

I think that the Danish sample from Eurogenes is quite interesting, to say the least. According to their runs the Dutch are closer to Swedes/Norwegians than what the Danes are and that's just impossible.

Oh get real :rolleyes: This is what the Anglo-Keltic wannabe krigare always keep saying, but in reality Scandinavians look very similar to each other. Even the supposedly pseudo-keltic Iceland looks more similar to other Nords, than to Brits/Irish.

Hey! Icelanders are approximately 60% Norse(mainly Western Norwegian) and about 40% Celtic(mainly from Scotland and Ireland). The Norse lineage is stronger on the male side (predominant), while the Celtic lineage is stronger on the female side. Thus Icelander are a mixture between Scandinavian and British Islanders, so it is perfectly normal for them to look like Scandinavian or British Islanders. Blondism and rufosity are well represented in the Icelandic population, we should not be surprised. So stop with your "Anglo-Keltic wannabe" myths!!!!!

I don't know if OP's photos are cherrypicked or not (as some here claimed), but the ones he posted really look much more familiar to me than all other Scandos I have seen, many could easily pass here.
There is also increased number of dark hair and CM traits on his photos, so I reckon most of these people are western Norwegians.

Yeah they all say that:D Reminds me of something I read on reddit a while ago. An american guy wrote that he was virgin and so was his girlfriend. They were planning on doing it on the wedding day. She wanted to visit a old school friend in Norway, a norwegian exchange student who had studied in USA. When she got back from Norway she told her boyfriend that it was over and she was no longer a virgin. She was also going to move to Norway and the former boyfriend was now worried about her and didn't know what to do.
