This pretty much explains the Iranians I've met on metal forums like www.metalstorm.ee (http://www.blockediniran.com/?siteurl=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.metalstorm.ee) at the time but not other websites.

Iranian ISPs are slowing down URLs, it could take up to 30 min for a page to load. I'm not sure a proxy would help depending on how really they choose to block these sites.

I think it's time someone hacks Iranian government sites. At my college I can access blocked sites with some HTML coding without using proxies but I'm not really an expert in hacking otherwise you would've seen every single government site there is having a Communist flag and slogan on it :)

Our regime censors pornographic web sites most heavily and i don't care to be honest. I've done so many girls (of many nationalities) that i stopped counting long time ago. What our regime does is nonsense, i know. We even have Cyber Police, which monitors social networks for anti-Islamic activity, and the Iranian cyber Army, a coalition of pro-government hackers that launches cyberattacks against opposition groups.
