If you think that Shpend Ahmeti's rise will change anything, then you are dead wrong. I am not any supporter of Isa Mustafa (I have the utmost contempt for him), but truth be told, what Shpend has done for so many years? Before he got involved in politics, he was distinguished in nothing except licking Yankee ass. I would happily vote him if he was truly Vetevendosje, but he's not. Shpend is a filthy opportunist that utilize VV's reputation to get some more power in his hand. Albin Kurti has had his taste of leadership yet he has remained a good leader that looks for the interests of his people and not his own. He went to jail protesting Serb tyranny for many years, and even sold his apartment for financing vv. The outcomes of these elections ain't important at all. It's more than worrying that Serbia has already gained ground through local elections. While shortsighted Albanians are quarreling for the same shit (PDK, LDK or Vetevendosje), serbs won several municiaplities all over Kosova. Belgrade made profusely clear its intention to create a kind of autonomous entity which would encompass 40% of our territory. After northern municipalities, they gained some other municipalities in central and eastern Kosova. The worst of all is that these municipalities will be governed by the candidates which are previously selected by Belgrade. It's more than infuriating that Serbs gained the power in the municipality of Novoberda in spite of fact that Albanians make up the majority up there. While we celebrate Shpend Ahmeti's victory, SHKAVELLAT took one more municipality. Go ahead with your beloved parties! How pitiful not to say suicidal!

But you see these things are related. If Albin Kurti were to win this wouldn't happen. Under Hashim thaci, northern Kosova was practically handed to Serbia. If there is a change of leaders there is a change of what you are so worried about.

I ain't buy that! I don't think Kurti has enough balls to undertake a campaign to utterly annihilate 'srpska republka' in Kosova. All what Kurti will do is what USA whispers behind the scenes. VV has long utilized the bad situation in which Thaci's government was embedded (though unwillingly). Don't get me wrong because I don't support Thaci, but he launched ROSU attempts to get the control over north. His attempts were greatly diverted by the international community who supplied chetnik paramiliatries with precious informations. So they had plenty of time to erect barricades over streets and to ambush our special units. I am sure that even Kurti will face the same problems if he ever try to get control over serb holdings. I am very sceptic about him because all what he has done so far is demagogy and never offered any example to follow on. Last but not least, VV reputation is badly tarnished after they advocated some religious fanatics demands.

P.S: I know Albin better than any other member here because I was member of VV until Albin got involved in politics
