I think that's quite likely. I've seen two light parents produce a dark toned child before, but his facial features look totally North African to me.

He really doesn't look like any 'White-French' person I've seen before, not even those of other European immigrant backgrounds.

He is fine to be an European looking but kinda atypical. No way North African looking.

I'd say the son looks more Jewish/Levantine than North African. Yes there are some dark Med types in France, such as footballers Yoann Gourcuff and Clement Grenier, but lol at the idea that they are 'average' French.

On top of that he doesn't overall look like a product of both parents.
My guess is one of them is not the biological parent.

This guy doesn't look average but isn't either really atypical. I wouldn't notice him in the street. Gourcuff is completely typical, though.
