Also, where could they pass except Gotland and Sweden?

I'm not sure about exact classification, but I'm thinking most of them are a cross between Hallstatt Nordic and Borreby, maybe some Faelid.

A lot of them look like British Islanders to me.
They wouldn't look out-of-place at all here in my part of the US, which is mostly of British and German stock.

Norway and Denmark I guess. As a group I don't think you can place these people much farther.

Intresting, Gotlanders have the highest amount of proto Scandinavian paleolithic DNA in Scandinavia, so I would've thought they looked very specifically Scandinavian.

What are Gotlanders? A small ethnic group of Scandinavia or just Swedish Highlanders or whatever? Are there even mountains in Sweden?

Gotlanders/Gutes are the inhabitants of the Swedish Island Gotland.

Given the isolated situation of the island this sounds quite logical.

On the other hand I've been acquainted with a fair number of Gotlänningar in Sweden and it stroke me how much they resemble Danes or Northern Germans more so than mainland Swedes. I am under the impression that the era when Gotland was a Hansa stronghold in the middle of the sea has left some trace.

(Which is not necessarily contradictory with the former assumption that Gotland has also preserved more ancient Norse DNA than elsewhere.)

The most northwestern part of Sweden is quite mountainous. That area is very sparsely populated though.
The Highest mountain in Sweden (Kebnekaise) is just above 2000 meters.

Look like average Östgötar to me.

Nordid + Borreby/Faelid/West Baltid.

Gotlanders have always been isolated in every aspect both geographical and language, which is why I think we have a slightly different, more CM influenced look.
The man in the first picture is how I imagine the original people of Scandinavia looked like before the arrival of indo-european R1 people. I definitely don't agree that we look more like Danes or Germans than mainland Swedes though.

An example of how we we were isolated lingustically is that when Danes and Swedes spoke 'East Norse' and Norwegians 'West Norse' Gotlanders spoke their own 'Gutnish Norse'. Our Futhark (runic alphabet) was also slightly different and while most scandinavians stopped using the Futhark after Christianisation, Gotlanders continued to use it until the 15th-16th century.

They resemble Danes, only couple of them wouldn't stick out in Poland.

Nordid and Borreby appear to be the most important

Males- first row mainly CM, second are Nordoids with cm influence.
Females are mainly cromagnods.

Illustrates well what the sexual dimorphism is.

Out of interest could you give a source, I know this is over 4 years ago though lol
