New information: Spanish (Cantabria) and Mauritian ancestry.

A beauty, but there's sth masculine about her looks as well.

So darker Atlantid maybe? Thoughts? I've absolutely no idea about Mauritius, except for where it is :(

Quadroon.

Thanks!

I'm curious... aren't there subclassifications for quadroons? They surely don't all look the same.

I've only slowly started to pick up on the white phenotypes and from what I've read I understand other races haven't been studied as much, but for those of you who can tell, could you guess her parents' phenotypes? Mother is Spanish, father is Mauritian.

Parents' phenotypes are not generally predictive of their children's. Even within Europe, Baltid parents can have Nordid children, Alpine brothers can have Dinarid sisters etc. Let alone race-mixed individuals.

As far as I know, Mauritius itself is a heavily mixed island (ethnically speaking). Blacks, Indians, Whites, all mixing. From the looks of her, her African ancestry is at quadroonish levels. The rest is probably White, but might have some Indian there as well (Indian-European mixes often look European, if the Indian in question was Nord-Indid or smth like that).

Thank you so much for your reply :) Actually, now that you've mentioned Nord Indid, the thing I couldn't really ''see'' focusing only on supposed African ancestry of her father is what now makes sense if we consider he might have North Indian ancestry.

What about Berberid? Would that make sense if we suppose it's not impossible that there are some on Mauritius:)

Is this woman (Anoushka Shankar) Nord Indid?

Googled her other photos, she's too Weddoid (Australoid-influenced) to be Nord-Indid. This are Nord-Indids:

But if the original girl in question has any Indian ancestry, it is not possible how Weddoid it was. It's just too diluted.

In mixed individuals talking about specific types is pointless, to speculative. You can only discuss ancestries and racial influences.
