Despite that he has light eyes, he does not look Western European nor particularly northern influenced in features.

But at the same time, he doesn't look all that West Asian.

I guess if I had to come up with something I'd say that he could pass as some kind of Jew, or a Jewish-Italian mixture.

What does that mean? Lombardo is a surname coming from lombard(the romance people, not the germans) settlements in Sicily a lot of centuries ago. (Proof: Gallo-Sicilian dialects)
