He is a Turanid and he is the second Croatian Europo-Mongoloid (http://www.theapricity.com/forum/showthread.php?100058-Classify-Mate-Parlov-Yugoslav-world-boxing-champion-of-Croatian-nationality) from Dalmatia who I see on this forum.

Maybe this genetic background connected to the Dalmatian Europo-Mongoloids:
"In one of the southern island (Hvar) populations, we found a relatively high frequency (14%) of lineages belonging to P*(xM173) cluster, which is unusual for European populations. Interestingly, the same population also harbored mitochondrial haplogroup F that is virtually absent in European populations--indicating a connection with Central Asian populations, possibly the Avars."

He is from Hvar right?
Either way his looks are far from anything Mongoloid-related. Dinaro-Alpinoid. Normal looking man for his country.

Area of Sibenic, close to Hvar. The boxer origin from the area of Split, opposite the Hvar island. And the singer has flat cheekbone, so he has Mongoloid ancestor besides the dominant Caucasoids. The rounded head with flat cheekbone is not Alpinid origin.
