Nothing.
Oh wait, yes... Baskid is for Spaniards and Dinarics for the rest of world :coffee:

Dinarids should be a bit robuster and maybe Pontid influenced

Dinarids are taller, more robust and brachicephalic

Baskid's supposed to be dinarid + atlanto-med

Baskid is nothing more than an atlanto med with a dinaromorph tendency. Dinarid is an highly dinaricized blend of mediterranid and CM.

Then why aren't Italians and French with that combination labeled Baskids?

Not at all.

Except for the high rooted, slightly arched nose, the Basques have absolutely nothing in common with Dinarids:
. long (dolichocephalous) skull, instead of the brachycephalous Dinarid skull with the distinctively flattened occiput,
. triangular jaw, pointy chin,
. cheekbones, forehead and nose ridge are on more or less parallel planes.

When you've seen typical Basques you cannot confuse them with Dinarids anymore.

Read better, I've said dinaromorph, not dinaricized...
Anyway Baskid is not exclusive for basques. Like armenoid is not exclusive for armenians.

There aren't many, but there are.
One of the most striking examples is French actor Jean Reno (born Juan Moreno y Herrera-Jiménez, of Spanish parents).
He's a textbook Dinarid who would fit much better in Serbia or Italy than in his parents' homeland!

I've seen all kinds of different people being classified as baskid, as long as they are from the Basque Country, like:

The Baskid, is the Kelto-Nordic version of the south, if you will, as Lábaru, mentioned.

IMO, this is how it goes:

Baskid= dinaricized Atlanto-med or Atlantid
Kelto-Nordic= dinaricized Nordic or north Atlantid

Jean Reno does not fit in Serbia or anywhere in the Former Yugoslavia as a typical example. And no, before anyone says it, it has nothing to do with his pigmentation.

Looking sinister or rugged does not equate to passing as a Balkan Dinarid. Jean is a fairly diluted Dinarid imo.
