Pontid-Dinarid, is he from southern part of Poland? I've seen threads about people from southern part of Poland, they're called "Górale" if I remember correctly.

He's from Olsztyn in Northern Poland but it really doesn't mean much :)
His surname does not seem to be present where Góral people live.

Dinarid+Pontid. How common is his phenotype in Poland? I imagine that it's more common in the south?

It is nowhere common, but there are Poles who just look like that. I am not that all convinced that this is more common in one place than in another, just random (maybe more common in Western parts? That even might be far-fetched - because of his rare phenotype). He looks kinda southern like his phenotype may suggest but I don't see any particular vibe connected to Southern Poland.

Nowhere in my post did I assume that this specific individual "must be from southern Poland". I merely asked if his PHENOTYPE was more common in that particular area of Poland :picard2: To some extent, most European countries countries have some regional differences(although reduced in modern times) in terms of phenotype. Why is it so strange that I ask if this is the case with Poland?
