A remake of the 1981 film version of the myth of Perseus and his quest to battle both Medusa and the Kraken monster in order to save the Princess Andromeda.

Sorry for being a joy killer, but action films today are so packed with jumps, people flying and explosions(not in this case,I hope!),and heroes who look just like models, that I refuse to go to the cinema to see them.I'll keep downloading the good old action movies that you cannot find even in specialized shops...sigh.Anyway,forgive me,Absinthe!:p

Off topic-agreed, just when I think on so mega stupid film such was Mrs and Mr Smith...:p
Where's Laurence Olivier and Burgess Meredith? What's with the rock music? :( I hold the original Clash in very high regard, this just looks like it's a ripoff of 300 with monsters.

Man, why do they need to try and remake good movies from my childhood?? I can't imagine the new one being any better than the original. Plus, the Ray Harryhausen special effects were just the coolest ever, you don't get that in the computer age! :(

"today"?:rolleyes2:
I don't think so , imho the golden decade of that kind of camp action movies were the 1980s were everyone pretended to be like Stallone , Hulk Hogan and Schwarzy , the 80s were also the boom years for wrestling and all macho stuff.I'm old enough to remember that.
Today movies are made mosly to appeal a females' target hence with a lotr of psychological introsprective or gossip , find us another Dirty Harry today or Michael Night...:coffee:
or maybe it's just me who no longer go to cinema and watch tv  but it is a strong impression of mine.

I hope this doesn't suck as much as I think it will. I loved the original as a boy!

Way too many of these shitty uterine movies out there. Luckily there are still some movies about giant robots fighting each other (http://www.theapricity.com/forum/showpost.php?p=134828&postcount=243) or dudes shootin' stuff for the sake of it:

And some classics that still totally rule:

It's a modern trend to remake classic movies in a shitty, pop culture fashion.
