South Asian component shows up in significant amount in many West Asian populations.

http://www.harappadna.org/2011/04/reference-3-admixture-k11/

Iranians have 30 percen south asian
Georgians are 25% south asian
Assyrian 25%
Iraqi Arab 23%
Egyptian 15%
Lebanese 17%
Palestinean 15%
YEMENI 14%
Saudi 14%

Its is very unlikely that this is any recent admixture. What is likely is that ancestors to South asian(im talking like 10000-20000 years plus) populations came from the middle east and those populations have been abosorbed into the general population.

Oh its important to note that the south asian component is seperated from the onge component and only includes the caucasoid portion of south asian ancestry. This implies that the ANI split from one of the west asian populations
