Which country's citizens have an archetypal pan-European look?

Can people get more specific in terms of a region -or even a city or town within that country- that best represents the typical European?

I'd say France, as it is a hybrid of both Northern and Southern Europe, whereas most European countries are one category or the other.

France, as has been said, represents the average Western European type. In fact, when you don't know where to place someone, just say la France.
