How much European do these Mexican women have?

In Mexico are these phenotypes considered indigenous or mestizo? To me they look like indigenous, but I do not know.

In Mexico it's really weird. Some one can be 90% Native and 10% European or 90% European and 10% Native and both are considered mestizo. That's one hell of a broad group to me but in Mexico it's totally normal for both to be considered mestizo. In the US someone who is that Native would be considered Native.

I don't, if they are 80+ Native and look it I consider them mestizo but Natives.

That really. Many Mexicans go by features/looks, if he/she looks white or pred he is consider white/Castizo if he looks mestizo, mestizo If he/she looks Native he is a Amerindian.

thats not true cause only 5.4% of the indigenous population speaks an indigenous language

Lol then some are really weird, like the Dominicans who are 80-90% Black/10% down Euro being not BLACK but Mulatos. to me so I go by the rules, If one did have a touch of Euro blood, and is 90% Native which that makes them a Indigenous.

And then you have the ones who are half white/black who claim they are just "tan" or "brown". It's like no, you're half BLACK, accept your African roots!

There is Mexicans who are over 90% Amerindian who have assimilated into mainstream Mexican culture which is 'mestizo'. And there are Mexicans who are around 70% amerindian who idenitify with one of the hundreds of Amerindian groups and identify and practice Amerindian culture and speak one of hundreds of Amerindian languages found in Mexico.

The two Amerindian chicks to the right show some mixture,but probably idenitfy as Mayan etc .

I've never heard of off-indigenous or Spanish-speaking Amerindians being called mestizos.
