I am just curious. Is there one?
I know Lithuanians have more Finnic influence on the paternal side, but autosomally they are "Eastern European" according to Dodecad, 23andme, etc.

There's a difference. They are less mixed than the Belarusians. Possibly less mixed in the whole region.

This PCA from Eurogenes explains the difference (on autosomal level) quite well. Balts and Baltic Finns have a "northern shift" that separates them from Slavs and Volga Finns (as well as Chuvash and Permians).

the PCA is a little difficult to read. Are we yellow?

Top left yellow cluster. It's indeed a bit difficult to read because Belorussians directly below Lithuanians and Finns to the right are also coloured yellow.

No, they are pure.
Pure ja

No, they are pure.
I'd like to elaborate on that ;)
They are pure finnic :p
South-western baltic-finnic at that.
Finns formed the majority of baltic-finnics only after the Livonian War, so finns are not a good proxy. Try estonians.

Yes, or perhaps specifically the upper-right area of the circle. The yellow individuals below that area are belorussians.

It's actually that those lands were once upon a time Baltic... So they are more Baltic then Slavic.
