I know some people wear utilikilts but rarely do I see actual tartans and even then most people don't use their own clans.

Personally I wear a tignon sometimes everyday and sometimes weekly.

The photos above are of the Signares of Senegal, the women of Colonial Haiti, and French Louisiana.

Although it was quite common all over the African Diaspora within North America it was made into an art form in Louisiana during the Spanish period when the Governor prompted by the elite white women of New Orleans angered over their husbands and sons confusing them for/marrying/making plaçage with Creole Women of Color instated a law making it illegal for all non-white women from wearing their hair down.

Yet that stopped nothing lol.

So like anyone else want to share what they wear? Jewelry is fine as well, even hairstyles as long as its not a costume for an event and just apart of your daily attire :D

Do you use fabrics that have old designs? Don't you think Islam influenced your culture and therefore your culture influenced how Islam is professed and portrayed in your country?

I try to go for plain scarves with very little design as I think it gives a more elegant look. I think the way I dress looks very elegant and modest. But most Turkish girls go for scarves with designs and vibrant colors.

Yes, of course Islam has definitely influenced many Muslim nations not only Turkey. Islam is a way of life. Even though Turkey is not as Islamic as it used to be compared to Ottoman era one can easily see the essence of Islam in peoples individual lives. Even atheist Turks have their share of Islam whether they are aware of it or not whether they like it or not.

The closest thing Cuba has to "traditional garb" is a guayabera, which I have worn a few times.

I guess I'd wear one of these if I had one though:

I don't, but a lot of Finns in the U.S. do wear traditional clothing at festivals.
