This is all just assumption, I have heard this and don't know how reliable it is or the specifics just that DNA taken from Neanderthals in I think Spain showed they probably had reddish hair, blue eyes, and freckles but their red hair was not from the same source as modern red hair. Redheads are not a race most of our ancestors and relatives don't have red hair. Red hair developed in Humans completely separately from Neanderthals. What does curly hair have to do with anything?
