The alpines are obviously the modern evolution of antique japenese dragons. You can see it easy way in this histoyc tips. Look:
Dragons and alpines are brachycephalic types.
Dragons have more puffy convex noses and other puffy triats in japanese version.
They're chestnut color going to a bronze color like alpine hair ( my hair for example are chestnut to bronze).
They're magic like some ancient alpines, Yellow Emperor for example.
The alpines was losing their power mixing with other subraces with the time except for the alpine diamond descendentes. We can see the Roman Emperors as the last alpine magic linage. They're all pred. alpine or alpine HIGH influencied.
The celtic Wicca ( celts are obviouly alpines) are the last religion form of alpine magic power.
