The woman who was found innocent of murdering her child, Casey Anthony. I can't find any definite answer, but I know people have said that her father may be Italian or Greek. The mother just looks Anglo.

Her father looks Greek to me, and the last name "Anthony" could easily be Antoniou, Antonopoulos, or anything similar and Anglicized. It could be Di Antonio if Italian.

It has to be one or the other. I've heard some people say they are Italian, and others say they are Greek, but I have not seen anything definite either way.

I know she is half Irish from her mother, as during the trial her mother said something about the family's Irish roots.

Anthony is def not an Italian surname

Yes but lots of Italians change their Surnames in America more so in the past.

Do you know that for a fact?
The father must be of southern Italian descent, like Sicilian or Calabrese. He and the brother look practically like Cypriots.

She has ancestral roots in both Ireland and Italy. There might be more nationalities in the mix. Her family looks like a northeastern mix to me. A lot of them moved to Florida.

I wonder if his probably is both Greek and Italian. and he being from America it can be kinda possible that He is mixed ethnicity of Italian and Greek. but don't know.

I just have trouble thinking of common Italian surnames that could be Anglicized to Anthony. I can think easily of what Greek surnames it could be -- Antoniou, Antoniadis, Antonopoulos etc
