I think it would be totally cool if we went around the world aggressively asserting truth to people. It is s big mess to clean up but it really needs to be done. It really doesn't take much to appeal and convince people. I am really apt for it and think it needs to be done. We could easily correspond with people like Richard Dawkins and get advice. Please. Lets get this rolling.

^ Atheism is not the truth it has been debunked. Although I don't agree with Harun Yahya aka Adnan Oktar on some elements he is quite correct that Atheism is collapsed ideology and has no rational behind it.

Hasn't that already been tried?

I am an atheist, may God be my witness.

No it hasn't really at all. It's all new territory for you brilliant atheist minds. At this point the world really needs to be hit hard with the truth because idle fantasy of superstitious believers doesn't accomplish anything. Doesn't accomplish anything at all. We can mould people into understanding where they can contribute to reality rather than believe some incantations will save them. The truth must be spread. Make it happen.

:lol::lol::lol00001::lol00001:

New-atheists have been doing this for some time. The religion of atheism and it's preachers.

Do you mean militant atheist evangelism? I don't see an issue in teaching people to think more critically about their religious faith.

An atheist crusade would be good for the Middle East. Besides God wants spiritual fruit not religious nuts!

This an old thread. Well even though the OP is long since banned, he could have built better credibility for his proposed crusade by learning to spell "Atheist" correctly.

He referred to Atheism as "the truth"; he is no more able to disprove the existence of God than a Christian is able to prove it.

They would probably even misuse atheism.

OK let settle some things.

1-Atheism is not a rejection of the existence of any deity, that's anti-theism. Atheism is a neutral stance, it's a lack of belief in the existence of any deity not a rejection toward it.
2-The USSR has nothing to do with atheism, religion was tolerated in the USSR.
3-Crusade as the word says it's a radical Christian notion of imposing their faith on others.
4-Atheism cannot tell the truth, it only focuses in pointing out flaws in both theism and anti-theism. Atheists want to know the truth, atheism is not a claim of knowledge of the truth, but rather an attempt to find it by removing baseless claims.
5-Atheism is a mere concept, it cannot be material, there's no way to impose atheism but by personal beliefs. And there's no way to teach atheism outside a simple description, point number 1, atheism is a blank page.

The author of the thread either was an uneducated anti-theist and didn't described himself properly, or was just looking for a secular world.

I'm a centrist. Hitchens was a liberal. Nonetheless I'm anti-EU and anti illogical immigration(EU style).

You agnostics are namby-pamby, mushy pap, weak-tea, weedy, pallid fence-sitters. Agnostics are wimps. Agnostics make the unwarranted assumption that the existence of god and the non-existance of god are an equal 50/50 probabiltiy when in fact if one understands science correctly then one sees that the existence of god is improbable and certainly more improbable than a mere 50% percent.

How is that? Have you calculated the odds?

You are confusing religion with theism, regardless how stupid a religious belief might be, that doesn't prove that there's no god. Your argument is called "argument from fallacy", just because somebody did a mistake in her/his rationalization process, doesn't mean that the conclusion was wrong.

No need to explain, it would be hilarious to see somebody coming up with that trying to counter our arguments. :D
