He has Italian ancestry I believe, hence the last name.

Much whiter than Iberians, that's correct. Most TA members seem to agree.
Dinaro-Med. I can't point out any features that I could assume are due to him being part-Romanian.

You are correct, for some reason I have always thought his last name was Italian in origin.
