And, wow, what an interesting face! I am super-curious as to what people might say about her.

I'll try. Anglo-saxon. Maybe a nose job or some other work? I'm not good at classifying, but to my eye borreby-like.

Aye, it's a funny old thing, but I'd agree with 'Anglo-Saxon' as the base upon which the 'exotic' stuff is overlaid. Perhaps she's not even too far out of the AS spectrum at all, given its supposed nature as a blend.

So what else do we have? Wide spaced eyes, snub nose, general 'cat like' expression! I'd say a not too rare Anglo-Irish mixture, with traits far from unknown in the Manchester Irish.

Now I'm just waiting to hear she's in fact 7/8 Sami... :p

Paleoeuropid/mtDNA U type.

Approximating a Baltid type.

Come on Allenson lets be reasonable that has no ground at all, whether Scientifical or Empirical.

She gives me an East Baltic/Finnic impression, but she's clearly some sort of phenotypical mix, hard to pin down to anything more specific.

How did I know that you would jump all over this? ;)

What I mean is, that in my opinion, the Paleolithic Europids, who maternally carried various forms of the U mtDNA haplogroup, probably were very much 'Baltid' in physical form--wide interorbital distances, low bridged noses, snubbed nasal tips, etc.

She herself might not be a U-haplogroup member but I am of the belief that she approximates their physical type.

She's quite pretty imho. :)

Martianid?

I can't quite pinpoint her. She could almost fit in anywhere across northern Europe. Like Loki, I get a Finnish vibe from her. I can see why AS has been suggested but I wouldn't say she's typical of England. I'd still find her exotic.

Well, like someone suggested, it could be that this "exotic" vibe we get from her is due to a nose job and a face lift.

I tried to dig that kind of dirt on her on the internet but nothing is mentioned :p So I guess we'll just have to speculate....

Well, if she is all doctored up, then that'd change everything. ;)

How about Bjorkoid? :lightbul:
